The aim of the WiSEMOY challenge is to further professionalize systems engineering by encouraging and rewarding mentoring of young systems engineers.
The WiSEMOY focus will thus be on the mentoring partnership between the mentor and the mentee emphasizing not only the self-discovery process of the mentee, but also the mutual learning and development of both the mentee and the mentor. The vision of WiSEMOY is to become a vital and constructive influence in the nurturing and development of South African systems engineers, by way of real-life mentor/mentee examples.
