Membership fees:

Membership is only $105 US per year.

INCOSE offers a 50% discount in membership fees to persons joining INCOSE through a chapter in a developing country. Therefore, if you join INCOSE through INCOSE SA you will be entitled to the 50% discount. Please note that, if you take advantage of this offer, INSIGHT and the Journal will not be mailed to you in hard copy form. You will however be able to download these documents from the INCOSE website at no extra cost. For further information, please contact the Membership Officer.

Membership rates:

• * Membership year is from June 1 to May 31.

• ** Student members must be enrolled at least ¾ time in engineering or related fields.

Membership renewal

You can renew your membership online at https://secure.sbims.com/incose/incoserenew_db.asp or through payment to SA Chapter (please refer "Application Process Details" [PDF 26KB]). Renewal fee is the same as joining in Jun/Jul/Aug.

Become a Member

You can become an INCOSE member in one of two ways.

With the first option you apply directly online at the central INCOSE office, but if you do not also inform the Membership Director of your application, it might take a while for the local office to be informed about your online application.

The second option is to directly contact the INCOSE SA office first and they will do the international application on your behalf. 

Option-1 - Directly online to central office:

• Apply online by using the central office form. You must select the "developing country" option to be eligible for the discounted price. (Payment via American Express, MasterCard or Visa only)
• The final Confirm Page is your invoice - print this page. This invoice in in USD. We cannot re-issue an invoice in ZAR. please refer to your credit card statement for the ZAR value.

Option-2 - Directly to INCOSE SA:

• Complete the application form (MS-Word form - 106KB, Adobe Acrobat form - 121KB)
• E-mail the completed MS-Word form to the Membership Director
• Pay your membership fees by providing your credit card details on the application form, by doing an Internet electronic transfer into the INCOSE SA account, by doing a bank deposit (see example of deposit slip). Refer to INCOSE SA banking details. The relevant fee in ZAR is stated on the membership application form.

Become an Associate organisation of INCOSE SA

The INCOSE SA ASSOCIATES BODY (ISAAB) acts as the "Voice of the Corporate Customer" for INCOSE SA.

Organisations can become associate members of INCOSE SA by joining ISAAB and gain the following main benefits:

• The ability to steer INCOSE SA along the lines of the ISAAB charter and stated ISAAB needs
• The ability to ensure that INCOSE SA is providing the needed value to our employees
